Hearthfire is a traditional fantasy TTRPG for 2 or more players and a Gamemaster (GM).
The Sundered Realm is a place of high adventure where the forces of good battle the encroaching shadowkin, spawn of chaos. The elemental dragons are in hiding while industrious humans ally themselves with merry wilderness dwarrim to hold back the tide of evil. The newly arrived elfin folk may hold the key to destroying the shadowkin once and for all.
Hearthfire is proudly 'vanilla' fantasy, but with some new twists. Rules are compatible with other OSR games, but Hearthfire features fresh mechanics and designs:
- Magicians have the option to cast with blood or traditional once-per-day spells
- A reputation system to grow (or tank) your notoriety
- A skills system and special class and bloodline abilities
- A built-out combat system
- Examples of truly magical weapons and items - not a +1 sword in sight
- A smattering of lore to help create an ongoing traditional fantasy campaign
Hearthfire is a 36-page A6 booklet.

In a world of 3 stats rules lite OSRs, I needed a 4 stats one. What you did here is lovely. Also, I liked the mixing of typical mages and clerics in a single class.
I'll love to see this system in different settings too (scifi, postapocalyptic, modern).
